Christmas Ideas and Personal Buys From my Families Christmas Lists
This Christmas is coming at 150 miles per hour and if your kids are anything like mine they want everything. My kids will make a Christmas list, see a comical and want to add that to their list as well. This goes on and on and on… I finally had to tell my older two how much we spend on each of them. I asked them to rank their lists according to what they actually want, not just something that looks cool. Once they understood the actual spending, their lists became easier to navigate. I started sitting down with each kid separately. We went through Amazon to find things they were interested in and really wanted. This makes shopping a lot easier for the older two. The 4 year old wants everything especially if it comes in purple!
Lets Talk Tween Girls Who Aren’t Very Girly
So as you can see, Payton has always been more into nature. She actually has a pet snake… It wasn’t my idea but they wore me down. Anyways, What do you get an almost 13 year old girl who isn’t into make up or super girly things? Well, that answer is a little complicated. For me, I went with things she needed. I also chose things she wanted. Additionally, I added a few things I knew she would like but probably didn’t know existed. So here are some Amazon finds that I think are worth checking out! I’ll have the link listen through my amazon associates code. (You won’t be changed anything extra for using it. I will just get a very small commission off of your first click purchases.)
We will start this list off with this 3D pen. This was a top Christmas list item for her. I was able to find a nice case for it. I also found a mat so I don’t have to worry about a big mess.
Next up we have some “girly” things.
Things for Her Room
We have some Payton approved shirts
We always encourage books on the kids Christmas lists. Payton is really into all of these dog books. She asks for them every year.
She also likes artsy stuff so I’ll include these two books as well
11 Year old Boys
I feel like I should start this off with an explanation… William is extremely intelligent and not your typical rough housing little boy. He would rather build something or play a video game that he can build something. He reads a lot. This is mostly because my husband started a price per book thing. It helps get them interested in reading and gives them a way to earn a little money. He also likes to play Chess. So yeah, that’s who he is.
So this first list shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone… Here are a few of the top Minecraft Legos in his list.
He is also really likes to build things like Robots.
A Few Books.
A few more random things from his list
4 Year Old Girls
I don’t think anyone with a 4 year old is looking for options. But if you are, I’ve drastically shortened this girl’s list just for you!
This “cell phone” is awesome! We had one similar to it but it unfortunately for ruined in the rain. So we got this new one as a Christmas gift for her. I also found this great case that goes with it!
So that’s a wrap… well at least the Amazon Christmas Lists. I do a lot of local shopping. It’s still nice to get an idea of what they are into from shopping online with them. I hope you found this helpful and I would love to hear your thoughts and idea as well! Please feel free to leave me a comment! Thanks for coming and until next time Merry Christmas!!!
